Participated in the Public Management Research Conference 2025 as a presenter and a chair

The 2025 Public Management Research Conference (PMRC) was held in Seoul, South Korea, from June 25 to 28, hosted by the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University

We presented our co-authored paper, “A Human-in-the-Loop: Does It Matter to Public Perceptions of the Use of Facial Recognition Technology in Policing?” (with Adrian Leung and Titir Chakraborty), in a session entitled, “Shaping Human-AI Collaboration in Public Management: Prospects and Challenge,” chaired by Professor M. Jae Moon (Yonsei University).

I also chaired the session, “AI Governance and Public Institutions: Ethics, Equity, and Accountability.” Antonia Sattlegger from the Netherlands delivered a presentation on the responsible design of algorithms in public administration, while Irakli Petriashvili from Georgia discussed his research on the role of technology in combating financial fraud and corruption.
